Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, our fundraising efforts have been directly impacted, making it exceedingly challenging to continue our efforts to meet the needs of many senior citizens in Clackamas County. In one way or another, we have all been affected by this invisible killer. Community is essential now more than ever. As we enter together in a state of global emergency, the easiest and safest way to make a difference at this time is through a financial donation.
As key workers supporting the elderly through this tough time, we continue to depend on outside donors and financial contributions to care for the most vulnerable in this crisis. Our team is still actively assisting our clients in a safe capacity, but due to a decrease in donations over the last month, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to reach out to those we normally are able to assist.
It is essential that we prioritize the needs of those most vulnerable. Your donations will ensure our clients have basic necessities and critical supplies. Our team is currently delivering groceries with food and other essential items as well as providing support more than 100 clients a week. This is one of the many ways in which we are continuing to serve while many of us are doing our part by social distancing.
