Mr. Evans is a graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in accounting coupled with an Army ROTC commission. His Army service consisted of two and a half years in an armor battalion with the Third Infantry Division in Germany followed by eight months with a basic training unit in (then) Fort Lewis, Washington. Upon being discharged in the spring of 1967, he relocated with his family to Portland.
Upon arriving in Portland, his first professional priority was securing his CPA certificate and then attending night law school at Lewis and Clark. In the intervening years after becoming an attorney in 1975, he has maintained both an active accounting and legal practice. In the past twenty five years, his practice has gravitated from accounting to legal with specialization in the areas of bankruptcy, taxation, real estate, and business and estate planning.
Although a Washington County resident since 1969, his law office has been in Lake Oswego since 1992.
